As a project architect, Karen ensures that every aspect of a project is aligned with the overall requirements of the client. Karen will work closely with the client and their team to understand their vision and specific requirements and will relay those requirements to other members of the design team.

Karen has a wide range of experience which feeds into her work with PLG. Her 6 years of experience in private residential projects, from planning development, through technical detail and construction, 6 years academic administration and 12 months public sector disability adaptations, combine to ensure a holistic understanding of project development. Additionally, her two weeks volunteering as part of the Gamesmaker Mobility Team at the London 2012 Olympics has provided her with an insight into some of the challenges which occupants with mobility issues can face which further enhances her designs.
