Role Overview:

Specialising in the property interests of clients that have disabilities either through a personal injury or as a result of clinical negligence, PLG has quickly become one of the market leaders in their field.

We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic, motivated, and creative Business Development Manger to join our Senior Management Team with a view to expanding the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including clients, referral sources, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand the firm’s client base.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients, law firms, individual solicitors , Case Managers, and other referral sources.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create and implement targeted campaigns that increase brand visibility and attract new clients.
Lead Generation & Networking:
- Utilise various lead generation strategies, including networking, attending industry events, and maintaining an active presence on Social Media.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners such as law firms, Case Mangers and other suppliers of services to the Personal Injury and Medical Negligence sector.
- Act as a key liaison for prospective clients and referral partners, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads into active clients.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Support the Marketing team and the Managing Director in conducting market research to identify trends, competitive activities, and new business opportunities in the Personal Injury and Medical Negligence sector.
- Analyse competitor strategies and develop counterstrategies to ensure the firm remains competitive and at the forefront of the market.
- Monitor client feedback and the effectiveness of Business Development efforts to continually optimize strategies.
Client Engagement & Retention:
- Coordinate with the Property Finder and Architecture teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Work closely with existing clients to identify opportunities for additional services and long-term relationships.
- Create client retention strategies, ensuring that clients are satisfied with the firm’s services and remain loyal.
Develop and implement short- and long-term Business Development goals and measure progress against established targets.
Reporting & Strategy Development:
Provide regular reports on Business Development activities, new opportunities, and client acquisition progress to the SMT, all such reports underpinned by detailed data.
